I stumbled upon this incredible space on my arrival to London from Australia earlier last year. Hidden away in Clapham Old Town, No.32 was an easy choice for my first Space Styled write-up.
This stunning interior is brought to life through the colour choice, use of texture and modern eclectic style. What I really like is the feeling you get as you enter the upstairs bar area. The open fire place, rich navy walls and opulent velvet sofas create an ambience where you just want to sit and enjoy a nice glass of red. Accents of grey and sapphire are contrasted by plush chestnut leather, giving this space a country homestead feel while remaining seamlessly modern and sophisticated.
This feeling continues as you carry on through the French doors and onto the light-filled limewashed deck. Surrounded by olive trees and festoon lighting this seating area is one that accommodates daytime festivities as well as that classy evening dining experience. What I particularly like in this area is the bench seating and marble tabletops, that showcase the concrete pots plants and go beautifully with the textured brick wall opposite.
This moody and inviting venue boasts style that is on trend yet classic. It blends the eclectic country style beautifully with a modern industrial look that is perfect for its location and cliental. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the local area.
